Let's find the equation of the line that has a slope of 1/4 and a Y intercept of zero. Negative, too. If we use the equation, Y equals MX plus B, the slope intercept form of the equation of a line M stands for the slope and B stands for the white coordinate of the Y intercept. So if we substitute those numbers in, we get, why equals 1/4 X minus two, and that's the equation of our line. Now let's go ahead and plot the line. So we're going to start by plotting the Y intercept, which is the 0.0 negative, too. And from there we'll use the slope to tell us how to find another point. So since the slope is 1/4 that tells us to go up one and write for from the point we already plotted. So from this point up one and write for takes us to hear there's another point on the line. We can do it again from there up one right for, and there's another point on the line, and then we can go ahead and connect and extend beyond the points, and we have our lying
