Write an equation in slope…

So we want to write this equation in slope intercept form and then we're going to grab it. So let me just get it written down here, and that looks like that's a 10 X. Okay, so let's get this, uh, five X on the other side by adding its opposite and let's and the opposite. And so we can cancel these out on this side and we have five y is equal to, and this gives me five X minus 15, and then we'll need to divide everything by five that by five that by five that by five. And so our slope intercept form will be y equals one x or just X minus three. So there's our equation in slope intercept form, and we know we go to our y intercept first, which is right here at negative three. Yeah, let me get some grid marks on here. And here's our X axis y axis and let's do the graph in blue. And so the Y intercept is at negative three, and the slope is one or 1/1. We go up 1/1, and there's a point up 1/1, and there's a point up 1/1, and there's a point, and we can grab that in and put arrowheads on it. And then you can double check and say, Hey, it looks like the 0.30 should work. And if I plug three in here, three minus three is zero boom. Yeah, I know it works.
