When reading about a scientific claim, it's important for us to be able to distinguish if it's real science or if it's not.
00:07
So there's about six steps that we can go through and ask ourselves in order to analyze and properly, know if it is real science or not.
00:15
So starting with number one here, this is where we are going to take a look and see if the first or initial observation is observable and quantifiable.
00:26
So we're going to add those keywords that we're looking for, which is observable and quantifiable.
00:40
Number two, this is now where we're going to move on, and we're looking to see if it observes clear and measurable hypothesis.
00:51
So does it have this, and is it doing this? so keywords here are going to be clear and measurable.
01:05
And then moving on to number three next.
01:09
I'm going to move this over.
01:14
All right.
01:14
Number three here.
01:16
This is where we've checked off and said yes so far.
01:18
So number three is where we're looking at the hypothesis to make sure it gives us something that's testable and falsifiable predictions.
01:26
So you want to be able to make sure it's not just one way where it's only going to prove something or it's only going to disprove...
