Example: "Canada's economy is heavily dependent on American trading. Therefore, any negative impact on the American economy will directly harm Canada's economy."
3. The effects of government support on those unemployed on a massive scale in Canada.
Example: "If the government provides financial assistance to unemployed individuals, they will become lazy and dependent on welfare. Therefore, we should not offer any support and let them find jobs on their own."
4. The increase of web-based services and the impact on our national economy in Canada.
Example: "Web-based services are rapidly growing in Canada. Therefore, traditional brick-and-mortar businesses will become obsolete, and our national economy will suffer as a result."
