Data Analytics
Data analytics is the pursuit of extracting meaning from raw data using software or specialized computer systems. This could include common
software, such as excel, or complex customized systems that transform, organize, and model the data to draw conclusions and identify patterns. We
learned that managerial accounting does not require management to follow GAAP. Instead, management can prepare detailed reports, such as
budgets, that help them focus only on relevant information to help them make planning, directing, and controlling decisions.
