Beth Branch was married but got divorced three years ago. A Beth has one child, Jeff, who lived with her all of the tax year except for the weekends when he stays with his father. Beth pays all of the household expenses and provided 100% of Jeff's support. Beth's mother, Sophia, also lived with her full time during the tax year. Sophia's husband passed away two years ago, so she moved in with Beth while she looked for a small condo to live in for the next few years.Even though Sophia doesn't have any income,she is very wealthy and provided all of her own support Beth has two jobs and received Form W-2s for both.She also contributes to a retirement account through her job (as indicated on the Form W-2).
