Automate Data Extraction: Utilize a bot to extract relevant information from expense report forms, including dates, amounts, categories, and supporting documentation. 2. Validate Expense Data: Implement validation checks to ensure the accuracy and integrity of the extracted data, such as verifying expense categories against predefined lists and checking for duplicates. 3. Integration with Systems: Integrate the automated process with existing systems, such as accounting software or expense management platforms, to facilitate seamless data transfer and reconciliation. 4. Error Handling and Exception Handling: Develop mechanisms to handle errors and exceptions gracefully, including logging and alerting functionalities to notify administrators of any issues that require human intervention. 5. Performance logging to support Monitoring and Optimization: Implement a log to track the performance of the automated process, including processing time, error rates, and throughput. Project Implementation Steps: 1. Create folder called receipts 2. Create a folder to for weekly reports 3. Create a folder for the monthly report 4. Read the receipts and create the appropriate weekly reports One for each user. Each report can have many entries but only from one user. 5. There should only be one weekly report for each user. 6. Process the weekly reports from the folder – input the appropriate information into the monthly report. The data should be entered onto the proper month tab. Do not alter or alter data into the main tab. 7. Create a log file. You should write to the log file at each stage and task of your flow. 8. Make sure your flow has proper exception handling.
