Timothy loves roller coasters so much that he's willing to go to Disney's California
Adventure. (Only because Magic Mountain was closed.) After waiting 2 hours in line for
"California Screamin" Timothy is alone in a roller coaster kart, at rest, on top of it's 121 foot
(36.9 m) ramp. To make the ride more "thrilling" Timothy takes off his seat belt just before
the kart speeds downhill and into a 30 m tall vertical loop. What is the normal force
required to keep Timothy in his seat? Does he regret removing his seat belt? (Timothy
brought a parachute just in case, so he is safe either way. Timothy is 200 pounds of pure
muscle, 90.7 kg.)
