and adults.
a. First, write out a system of equations for this scenario
in terms of the cost of a children's ticket (x), and the
cost of an adult's ticket (y).
b. Write this system as an augmented matrix.
c. Reduce this matrix into the RREF form we discussed
in class. Write out how you found this RREF, as well
as the reduced matrix.
d. Translate this reduced matrix back into a form where
you can write out the solution set. What is the price of
the child's ticket and the price of the adult ticket?
