Project Description:
This project involves designing and building a motor-controlled fan system with LED indicators to display the fan’s operational status. The system uses a 12V relay to control the power supply to a 3V motor, which acts as a fan. The project includes two LEDs: a green LED that lights up when the fan is ON and a red LED that indicates when the fan is OFF. The fan is controlled via a push button switch, which triggers a transistor-based relay circuit to switch the fan ON or OFF.
This project combines basic principles of electrical engineering such as motor control, relay switching, transistor operation, and LED indication, making it an excellent introduction to electrical engineering for first-year students.
