Referring to the diagram below, a 3 kg block is attached to a cable and to a spring. The
spring stiffness is $k = 1400$ N/m and the tension in the cable is 10 N when system is initially
at rest. If the cable is cut and assume there is no friction against the motion of the block,
determine
(a) the maximum displacement of the block from the initial position,
(b) the displacement from the initial static position such that the speed of the block
reaches its maximum, and
(c) the corresponding maximum speed value as in (b).

Referring to the diagram below showing a car B is moving along a track with speed 40 m/s.
There is a cameraman at A tracking the car with the camera. Determine the value of angular
speed the cameraman has to turn the camera such that the car is always in the centre of the
camera-viewfinder.
