Assignment 3 Due 24 May by 23:59 Points 42 Submitting an external tool Available after 6 May at 0:00 In this assignment, you will implement different deep-learning networks to classify images of hands in poses that correspond to letters in American Sign Language. The dataset is contained in the assignment zip file, along with some images and a text file describing the dataset. It is similar in many ways to other MNIST datasets. The American Sign Language letter database of hand gestures represents a multi-class problem with 24 classes of letters (excluding J and Z, which require motion). The dataset format is patterned to match closely with the classic MNIST. Each training and test case represents a label (0-25) as a one-to-one map for each alphabetic letter A-Z (and no cases for 9=J or 25=Z because of gesture motions). The training data (27,455 cases) and test data (7172 cases) are approximately half the size of the standard MNIST but otherwise similar with a header row of labels, which represents a single 28x28 pixel image with grayscale values between 0-255. IMPORTANT Train all the models locally on your own machine. No model training should occur on Gradescope (GS). The genetic code was elucidated through the use of polyribonucleotides synthesized either enzymatically or chemically in the laboratory. Given what we now know about the genetic code, which mixture would produce a polyribonucleotide sequence that could serve as an mRNA coding predominantly for many Phe residues and a smaller number of Leu and Ser residues? a 5:1 mixture of ADP and GDP a 5:1 mixture of UDP and CDP an equal mixture of GDP and CDP an equal mixture to ADP, GDP, UDP, and CDP

Texts: For the four-bar linkage mechanism shown, determine the angular position, velocity, and acceleration of links 3 and 4. Refer to class notes or Section 4.3.3, pages 158-161 of your textbook (edition 2), for the relevant equations. Given: θ₀ = 84 rad/sec CW const. Link 2 is oriented at an angle of θ₀ = 220° at the instant. Link lengths are r₁ = 5.3 cm, r₂ = 2.7 cm, r₃ = 5.6 cm, and r₄ = 4.9 cm. Determine the angular positions, angular velocities, and angular accelerations of links 3 and 4 for the positions that correspond to θ₀ = 220°. θ₃ = 0° θ₄ = 0° ω₃ (rad/s) = 4 rad/s ω₄ (rad/s) = a (rad/s) α₃ (rad/s²) = a (rad/s) α₄ (rad/s²) = 4a (rad/s)
