An investigation was conducted to determine whether the relationship between perceived bullying victimisation (i.e., feeling bullied) and aggressive behaviour (e.g., throwing objects at others, pushing others, pulling hair) in pre-schoolers was conditional based on one’s reported sex. The bullying victimisation scale was measured on a 10-point scale, with 1 indicating not at all and 10 indicating all the time. A researcher monitored the frequency of aggressive behaviour during playground activities for 3 consecutive days. The researcher chose to standardise the outcome variable (i.e., create a z-score) due to completing different versions of an aggressive behaviour checklist for each student. It was hypothesised that there would be a significant positive relationship between perceived bullying victimisation and aggressive behaviour for males, but not for females. Perform the appropriate analysis of these data and report the findings with regard to the hypotheses.
please provide proper answer including SPSS analysis method, use this(Moderation Analysis) test for type of design, provide how to perform this in SPSS. MAINLY PLEASE PROVIDE RESULT AND REPORT.
Outcome Variable(dependent Variable) = Aggressive Behavior
Predictor variable(Independent variable) = Bullying Victimisation and Sex
Study Design = Correlational
Appropriate test for this type of design = Moderation Analysis
