The beauty and perception video reminds me of the illusion the media portrays about how skin really looks. When I see an advertisement with someone with perfect skin, I know that the reality is this woman endured lots of time in the makeup chair AND has been airbrushed with no pores visible (not to mention good lighting). So, I don't let myself think that I must look like that to be normal BUT it took me a long time to realize this. My "measure of beauty" is in the eyes of my friends and family. I still may buy the product that the ad is selling, but I don't do that with the idea that I will have perfect. scar-less, acne-less, pore-less skin if I buy it."
