Hypothetical Population of Smokers, the drawn sample size n=3 from the population of N persons (A, B, C, and D) where A and D are smokers and persons C and D are non-smokers. In this population, we can obtain four different samples. The possible combinations are (ABC), (ABD), (ACD), and (BCD). The sample estimates vary as we have different combinations of persons in different samples. Construct the sampling distribution and then show that theta hat is unbiased.
