Understanding the difference between federal, state, and local
government levels of authority is extremely important. In Medicaid,
for example, there are guidelines that define the eligibility
process from the federal point of view. However, states have
different ways of implementing Medicaid.
For the Unit II Case Study, research and describe a public
health agency in your state and the role the agency plays in
implementing public health programs within the community. How does
this state agency differ from federal agencies, such as the Centers
for Disease Control and Prevention, National Institutes of Health,
and Food and Drug Administration?
Your case study must be a minimum of three pages in length
