exchanges heat between the human body and the surroundings. In short, lung is an
excellent example of a real-life thermodynamic system where mass and heat exchange
take place. Superman uses his super lung to save the day with adiabatic cooling. As
shown in the figure below, the rapid expansion of the gas expelled from Superman's
lungs cooled the overheating truck, thwarting the evil General Zod's attempt to explode
