2.19 Gas composition
A gas mixture containing \( 30 \% \) oxygen, \( 5 \% \) carbon dioxide, \( 2 \% \) ammonia, and \( 63 \% \) nitrogen is stored at 35 psia and room temperature ( \( 25^{\circ} \mathrm{C} \) ) prior to injection into the headspace of an industrial-scale bioreactor used to culture normal foetal lung fibroblast cells. If the reactor is operated at \( 37^{\circ} \mathrm{C} \) and atmospheric pressure, explain how the change in temperature and pressure of the gas as it enters the vessel will affect its composition.
