A person or philosophical system that spouses the COGNITIVE CRITERIA TO DETERMINE PERSONHOOD can
be considered coherent...
A ...if they agree that every member of the human species is of equal worth, regardless of ethnicity,
class, disabilities, sexual orientation, gender identity, etc.
B ... if they believe that well-meaning, intelligent aliens (if they were to be found) should also be
considered of equal worth than humans.
C ...if they agree that most people are of equal worth, as long as they are not criminals.
D ...if they believe that a fetus, embryo, zygote, or human in persistent vegetative state (once there is
no brain activity) could not be considered to be of equal worth to a fully functioning human person.
