Assignment Tasks: Report Writing
1. Prepare a report about any one process equipment in your company, its necessity, the
controllers, utilities involved and the simulated model of the equipment with neat diagram.
Your report should not exceed 200 words. Report should contain introduction part, diagram
of the equipment, specification of the equipment and other details if necessary and the
conclusion part.
2. For the given process design which describes about the steps involved in the process of Oil
and Gas Facility, prepare a report which contains answers for the following questions.
a. What would be the bases of Oil production station?
b. How would we optimize the process scheme?
c. What is the input to the process simulation?
d. What is the output of the process simulation?
e. Differentiate between a horizontal and vertical separator.
f. Point out the process equipment involved in the design.
g. Modify the design with all simulated inputs and output and redraw it.
h. Comment on the modifications.
