hydrogen gas through a horizontal venturi meter given the fol-
lowing information: diameter of meter at inlet = 75 mm and at
throat = 25 mm; the pressure = 800 mm of mercury and the tem-
perature = 15°C at inlet and the pressure = 765 mm of mercury at
the throat. For hydrogen $PV^{1.4} = $constant for adiabatic expan-
sion, and R = 4100 J/kg-K.
