Part of the University campus power system is shown in Figure Q3.
It comprises two 50MVA generators connected at 132kV and 33kV, with reactance of $X_{gen-132}^{''} = j0.25$ pu and $X_{gen-33}^{''} = j0.142$ pu respectively, two sets of two 132kV / 33kV, 75MVA transformers, each with reactance of $X_{trans} = j0.11$ pu and two lines, each 3.4km long, with impedance of $Z_{line} = 0.023 + j0.174$ Ω/km. A fault occurs at the point indicated in the diagram. The two generators are designed to disconnect themselves if they are overloaded beyond 55MVA each. Assuming that the fault is drawing equal power from the two generators, determine if the generators would disconnect or not.
