Write a response to the following discussion: Oil-injected Rotary Screw Compressors Within the last few decades, the oil-injected rotary screw compressor has become one of the leading types of pneumatic compressors. These compressors work by trapping air between two meshed rotors and reducing the volume of the trapped air as it moves down through the rotors. This reduction in air volume creates compressed air that can now be utilized. Rotary screw air compressors used on vehicles are oil-injected. This means that oil is used to lubricate and seal the rotors in the air-end. The sealing of the rotors creates high pressure and compresses the air. Then, the oil gets separated from the air. Before the air has a chance to exit the system, it gets recycled back into the air-end for reuse. Oil-injected rotary screw compressors allow the compressor systems to continuously provide high CFM (cubic feet per minute) and psi (pounds per square inch).
