Alice, a seventh-year junior at KSU, appears in court to complete her in-court observation, an
assignment for her advanced business law course, which she has put off to the last possible minute.
Upon entering the courtroom, Alice notices there is no jury present, but there is a panel of three
judges. There is also no witness stand, and Alice is surprised when the court does not hear any
evidence. The court applies the law to the facts of the case as referenced in a transcript. Weird, thinks
Alice, probably because she rarely attends Class Sessions. With respect to the court in which Alice
finds herself, it has what type of jurisdiction, fo sho (i.e., without a shadow of a doubt)?
