On many of the homeworks bonus problems will be included. These are interesting problems related to the current course material, and solving these problems can earn you extra credit! Do not turn solutions to these problems in with your homework. Instead, work on the bonus problems throughout the quarter, and at the end of the quarter (with the last homework), we will collect the bonus problems, grade them, and add the extra credit to your final grade. In total, the bonus problems will be worth half of a homework grade in extra credit.

(a) For circuit A, solve for $V_{out}$ in terms of $V_1$, $V_2$ and $R$.
(b) Draw a Thevenin equivalent for circuit B. What are $V_{Th}$ and $R_{Th}$?
(c) Using your results from part (b), draw a Thevenin equivalent for circuit A.
(d) Use what you've found to derive an expression for $V_{out}$ in terms of $V_1, V_2... V_N$ for circuit C.
(e) What is circuit C called?
