basic components of the drivetrain are the engine, transmission, driveshaft,
differential, and wheels. The wheels convert rotational energy into translation
of the vehicle. The vehicle is acted upon by external forces due to wind
and rolling resistance and gravity impedes the motion when climbing a hill.
Notice that bonds connect the elements that exchange energy and effort-flow
pairs are labeled on each bond.
