Patient 2: Post-Exercise Assessment
Patient: Take an initial set of vital signs with the patient comfortably seated. Have the patient engage in light physical activity (e.g., brisk walking) for 5-10 minutes.
After exercise, re-measure the vital signs.
Nurse: Record the pre- and post-exercise vital signs, indicating any significant changes from baseline. Identify and briefly discuss potential causes of abnormalities. Are these abnormalities expected or unexpected?
