a. Order the following electron carriers to illustrate the typical flow of electrons (such as: carrier 1 $\to$ carrier 2 $\to$ carrier 3, etc) through the typical electron transport chain. Begin with each of the initial electron donors obtained from the oxidation of carbon fuel and continue until reaching the terminal electron acceptor in electron transport in mitochondria. Since there are two initial electron donor molecules you can show each as parallel branches converging at a common point or show two separate pathways. (Note the list below includes mobile and non-mobile electron carries and some are protein complexes while others are coenzymes). For simplicity, use only the electron carriers listed in the redox state provided below.
