Part 1: Design the pipe diameters $d_1, d_2, d_3$ and the pump power so that $Q_1 = Q_2 = Q_3 = 4.5 m^3/hr$ when all $V, V_1, V_2, V_3$ are open. It is given that $d_1, d_2, d_3 \le 0.12m$ (the diameter of the feed pipe).
Part 2: Find, $Q_1$, when only $V + V_1$ are open, $Q_2$ when only $V + V_2$ are open, and $Q_3$ when only $V + V_3$ are open.
