• Exercise 3 One of the elective courses you may be taking in this program is Sales and Persuasion. A random sample of eight salespeople that attended a motivational course on sales techniques was monitored in three months before and the three months after the course. The table below shows the values of sales (in thousand of dollars) generated by these eight salespeople in the two periods. Assume that the population distributions are normal. Can we conclude that there is a difference in the sales generated by the salespeople before and after the motivational course? Use a level of significance of 0.05. Make sure to state the null and alternative hypotheses. Report and interpret p-value. Solving for v_out in a non-ideal difference op amp Asked 4 years ago Active 4 years ago Viewed 212 times R R Ro V2 Vd Ri Ava Vout + + RL R V1 R I'm having trouble figuring out how to set up the KCL equations for this op amp. Everything I've tried seems to lead to a dead end. I've tried setting up three KCL equations at nodes v_n(-), v_p(+), and V_out, and using just node -v_d and v_out. Anyone have any ideas? This is what I've tried using -v_d as a node: \frac{-v_d - v_2}{R} + \frac{v_d}{R} + \frac{-v_d - v_{out}}{R_i} = 0 and \frac{v_{out} + v_d}{R} + \frac{V_{out} - A_v v_d}{R_o} = 0 but this seems to be trivial as the first and second equation reduce to something that doesn't involve other parts of the circuit.

8. In the circuit shown with a resistance R, capacitance C, a switch S, and a battery with an emf \(\varepsilon\), the capacitor is initially uncharged. Ignore the internal resistance of the battery. (8) (a) What is the initial current through the resistor immediately after the switch is set to position "a"? (8) (b) What will be the charge on the capacitor a long time after the switch is moved to position "a"? (8) (c) 8) (d) Which of the plots below best represents the charge on the capacitor as a function of time after the switch is moved to position "a"? (circle one) After the capacitor is fully charged, the switch is set to position "b". How much time is required for the charge on the capacitor to drop by a factor of 1/e? (e) Which of the plots below best represents the voltage across the resistor as a function of time after the switch is set to position "b"? (circle one)

Given a string 'Ali horses' in Python, we want to add a verb to make a sentence such as 'Ali likes horses'. Suppose we have a string-variable name as defined below (names has one space between the two words - Ali and horses), and we want to insert a string 'likes' in this space, which of the following solutions is the correct answer. names = 'Ali horses' sentence = names + 'likes' + names sentence = names[:3] + ' ' + 'likes' + ' ' + names[4:] sentence = names[5:] + 'likes' + names sentence = names[:4] + 'likes' + names
