b. Given: As we did in Block I, you will develop a system of equations to help solve for unknown
currents and voltages. In this block, the unknown variables will be complex numbers. Therefore,
you need to be able to solve a system of equations where the unknowns are complex. You have
the following equations. Note $V_1$ and $V_2$ represent complex numbers. You are welcome and
encouraged to use Matlab to help you solve these equations.
$\frac{V_1 - V_2}{j1,800} + \frac{V_1}{800} + \frac{V_1 - 12\angle60^\circ}{600} = 0$
$\frac{V_2 - V_1}{j1,800} + \frac{V_2}{-j500} = 0$
Find: The complex values for $V_1$ and $V_2$. You may leave your answers in either polar or rectangular
form.
