A magnetic core, as shown in Fig. 3.3, with a BH curve, as shown in Fig. 3.4. The dimensions are as shown in the diagram, and the depth of the core is 4 cm. There are 100 turns in the coil wrapped around the leg of the core.
(a) What is the inductance when the current flow over the coil (i) is 1 A?
(b) What is the inductance when the current flow over the coil (i) is 4 A?
(c) Assuming this inductor ($L_1$) is operated at non-saturation region and the inductance of another inductor ($L_2$) is 4 mH. Mutual inductance is 1 mH. What is the overall inductance when these two inductors are connected in the configuration as shown in Fig. 3.5?
