Instructions: Answer the questions below after reading the case study description.
Case Study: Jennifer is the mom of 4-year-old Peyton. Jennifer is concerned that Peyton's diet is inadequate, but
she struggles to get Peyton to eat healthy foods. She says Peyton is very picky and doesn't like most foods provided
by Jennifer and her partner. They often make one meal for themselves and something separate that Peyton likes -
typically a cheese quesadilla or peanut butter and jelly sandwich. Even then, Jennifer feels she has to pressure her
child to eat when they sit down for dinner. She reports that they have snacks throughout the day, including a mid-
morning snack and at least 1 to 2 snacks during the afternoon, typically consisting of crackers, chips, dry sugar-
sweetened cereal, fruit snacks, and juice boxes. Jennifer wishes Peyton would eat a greater variety of foods,
especially more fruits and vegetables, but she says Peyton refuses those foods when offered.
