PART II: Simulation
Question 1:
Using Proteus tool, construct the circuit you have designed in Question 1 of Part I.
Use the generic bridge rectifier whose specifications are close to those of W10M.
Place appropriate instruments (cursor on) to record the waveforms of :
* input voltage to the rectifier,
* output voltage (voltage over C),
a. Simulate the circuit and record the waveforms of above voltages. Upload your
simulation as a .pdsprj file.
b. Calculate the ripple factor at the output and compare it with the ripple factor for
the circuit you have designed in Question 1 of Part I.
If the simulated ripple factor deviates from the ripple factor of your design, find
the proper capacitor value which satisfies the ripple factor specification of your
design and repeat (a).
Explain the reasons for differences you have observed.
c. Measure and record the maximum and minimum values of the output voltage.
