the energy is kinetic and what fraction is potential? At what displacement, as a
fraction of A, is the energy half kinetic and half potential? A is the maximum
displacement, the amplitude.
2. (5 points) A physicist is riding in an elevator. But he is so busy thinking deep
thougths he has forgotten whether he pushed the up or down button. So he takes
out a pendulum that he always carries with him and measures its period to be 1.8 s.
