Group Assignment 2
Player Y and Player G have played the game "Just Dance" for 56 songs. For each song played,
there are four variables contained in this dataset, "Joycon", "ScoreY", "ScoreG", and "Difficulty
Level". "Joycon" indicates the color of the joycon ("R" stands for red and "B" stands for blue) that
Player Y used for the song. "ScoreY" and "ScoreG" are the scores that Play Y and Play G obtained
for the song, respectively. "Difficulty Level" indicates which of the four difficulty levels the song
has.

Question 1: Compare Population Parameters and Their Point Estimates
Let's treat the dataset as the population for Question 1.
1.1 Compute the population mean of ScoreY and ScoreG.
Compute the proportion of songs for which player Y used the Red Joycon (i.e. Joycon="R")
in the population.
Complete the following table.
Population Parameters
Population Mean of ScoreY
Population Mean of ScoreG
Proportion of Songs: Joycon="R"
1.2 Select a random sample of 5 songs (Let's call it Sample 1), compute the sample mean of
ScoreY and ScoreG and the proportion of songs for which player Y used the Red Joycon in
the sample. [Copy and paste the list of songs in your sample to the top part of the table below
and provide the point estimates and sampling errors in the bottom part of the table below.]
Note: Sampling error equals the absolute difference between the population parameter and its
point estimate.
