Match the predominant biochemical test with a characteristic of the test and / or name of the biochemical test, etc. Carbohydrate fermentation Amylase test Actions of enzymes Miscellaneous tests A. production of acid and / or gas B. various by-products of metabolism C. catalase, oxidase and coagulase tests D. hydrolysis of starch

Why does gelatin hydrolysis test have a positive reaction of the bacillus subtilis and not e coli. Also why is the casein hydrolysis yield the same result where the e coli is negative and the B subtilis is positive. What gives it so that this result is expected.
