1. In the evolution of the eukaryotic cell, these cells have key changes that include which of the following: a) These cells reproduce by copying their DNA perfectly each generation. b) They have their DNA in the nucleoid area. c) have adapted the mesosome membrane system of the prokaryote to form a nucleus and an endoplasmic reticulum. d) each new type on new eukaryote cell has its own mesosomes e) none of these are true. 2. The functions of a eukaryotic cell associated with the synthesis and release of a protein or product is carried out by the: A) nuclear membrane B) mesosomes C) nucleus and nucleolus D) endoplasmic reticulum and golgi apparatus, E) only the golgi apparatus
Dominador T.
Proteins are made in the endoplasmic reticulum and then go to the golgi body to be finished and packed, and then they are pinched off into a vesicle to travel to their location.

DNA controls the cell by transmitting genetic messages that result in protein production. Place the following organelles in the order that represents the flow of genetic information from the DNA through the cell: nuclear pores, ribosomes, nucleus, rough ER, Golgi apparatus.
