About 92% of the blood is plasma. True False
Adi S.
TRUE FALSE Plasma is the liquid portion of blood. 100% of plasma is made up of water. Plasma is composed of various ions and organic molecules. The ions in plasma are from salts that dissolve in the water portion of plasma. The salts in plasma help to maintain the osmotic pressure and pH of the blood. Plasma does not contain dissolved glucose, amino acids, or urea. Three major types of plasma proteins are the albumins, the globulins, and fibrinogen. Plasma contains large organic molecules. Most plasma proteins are made in the pancreas. Plasma includes hormones and the plasma proteins.
