Right my dear student uh in part a of the question we are supposed to connect three bulbs in parallel with a six -volt battery this is our battery and in the in parallel with this battery we have our first bulb this is our first bulb and in parallel with the first bulb we have our second bulb connected this way and in parallel with this third bulb, second bulb, we have our third bulb connected this way.
00:41
So here three bulbs are connected in parallel.
00:44
This battery source, this is of six volts.
00:49
This is our bulb one.
00:52
Or it has been named as a bulb a.
00:54
This is bulb b and this is bulb c.
00:57
So three bulbs are connected in parallel with a six -volt battery.
01:01
Now in part b we have been asked to find the brightness of each bulb so let the brightness of the first bulb is denoted with p1 because brightness depends on the power dissipated across any appliance brightness is equal to the voltage across the bulb one divided by the resistance of the bulb one so this is the formula all we know that all the bulbs are same means all the bulbs have should have the same resistance and all the bulbs have should have the same voltage is why because they are connected in parallel if some electrical appliance is connected in parallel then the voltage across them is same so the power depends on two things the voltage across apply any appliance and the resistance all the bulbs are same and all are connected in parallel it means their voltage and resistance same it means the part of the first bulb is equal to the power of the second bulb there should be equal to the power of the third bulb so it means that their brightness is same all the brightness of all three bulbs remains same brightness same i hope you understood this concept now if i in the second part of part b we have been asked this was the first part in the second part we had been asked that if you keep only one bulb connected with the battery the it is like this by removing all the other bulbs.
02:42
So we have the battery and we have only one bulb.
02:45
Let's say that it's the bulb connected with the battery...
