A library system lends books for periods (average) of 22 days.
This policy is being reevaluated in view of a possible new loan
period that could be either longer or shorter than 22 days. To aid
in making this decision, book-lending records were calculated to
determine the loan periods actually used by the patrons. A random
sample of 10 records revealed the following loan periods in days:
21, 18, 19, 20, 16, 20, 18, 14, 23 and 14. test the nul
hypothesis, using alpha .01 level of significance
