The following data tracks the number of deer in a wild life range. Year: 2000 2003 2007 2011 2015 2018 Pop: 1501 1706 1775 2140 2290 2525 Questions Q4 through Q7 are based on this data. First, use the data for the years 2003 and 2018 to predict the number of deer in 2020. Round the answer to the nearest whole number, i.e. for 3045.3 write 3045. Using the graph provided, pick the two data points that result in the greatest slope. Use this line to roughly estimate the population of deer in 2021. You only need to be accurate to within about 100 deer on either side, so you can do it graphically. Use the two data points which give the lowest slope and use the line through them to graphically estimate the deer population in 2021. Again, you just have to be within about 100 deer on either side.
