If a baby has a rash, swollen abdomen and legs, and enlarged live and spleen at birth. Why would the mother begin showing these symptoms as well. (assuming it has something to do mainly with blood) I thought it was because the Rh factors of the mother and child are conflicting, but I cannot understand why or how the mother would also show these symptoms. Please help
