So if you have a population that's growing, that's growing, then growing, there's going to be some sort of limiting factor that stops them from growing that much and kind of ends here at this carrying capacity.

Well, for instance, if there's more food and that was the only limiting factor, or one of them, then there's more food so more of these creatures can prosper and there's more resources.
