We're going to talk a little bit about one of the stages in erickson's stages of development in adolescence called identity versus rural confusion.

I believe it's the fifth stage.

So basically, this is the stage at which you're transitioning between childhood and adulthood, so adolescents.

And the goal is to establish a sense of identity and find one's place in the world.

And in order to succeed at that, the success is, what erickson called fidelity.

You try on and explore different identities, and then you sort of find the one that fits you, and you accept it, and you start to own it.

And there might be certain, like, different stages to this process, of course, because, like, your identity might evolve over time.

There might be an initial discomfort with an identity, a period of growing into it...
