After completing my studies, I received a well-paying job offer. The early days of my assignment were extremely challenging and stressful. However, I began developing personal skills and applied many of them throughout my professional life. Among these, my coordination skills stand out. These skills greatly contributed to achieving my career goals and objectives. In 2013, my agency planned to organize an international investment forum in Kabul, which presented a unique opportunity for Afghanistan to attract foreign direct investments. My office played a significant role in ensuring the event’s success, and, as an Investment Support Officer, my role in establishing effective communication channels with international partners was crucial. My strong coordination skills enabled me to organize and manage the event effectively, which contributed to achieving my organization’s annual targets. In another instance, my recent role in Afghanistan required me to take the lead in conducting board of directors’ general elections. These elections were essential for our organization’s development and future direction. I dedicated considerable time and effort to reaching various sectors of the Afghan private community to ensure the election of a strong and fair chairman. Once again, my coordination and communication skills were instrumental in organizing a transparent and fair election process for our board of directors. In this way, one’s strengths can pave the way for personal growth and organizational success.
