Assume you were engineering a eukaryotic cell that could survive in a dark environment, would be resistant to osmotic stress, and also would be motile in an aquatic environment. It also would need to be able to adhere (stick) to certain animal hosts in its environment. What features would you give your cell and what organelles might you leave out of the cell? Explain your choices.
