A bookstore owner would like to invest his money in developing an Online Books Ordering and Delivery
System to improve the services offered to customers. The owner is not familiar with recent technology
and tools, so they would like to hire you to develop such system to him.
As a system analyst, you are requested to help the owner by analyzing the data requirements and
designing the online system. Following how the system should work:
The customer has to login, if the customer does not have an account, he has to create an
account on the online system.
The customer can start his shopping experience, the customer will be able to view all the book
categories, search for specific book, and add books to the cart.
The customer has to enter the full address details.
The customer has to schedule a delivery by specifying a day and a time.
The customer has to enter his payment information in order to authorize his card, "an
authorization request send to the credit card company".
The invoice will be viewed on the screen, and customer will have two options either print or
save their invoice.
Once the order paid, the system will automatically update product unit number and remove them
from the actual stock.
The bookstore staff will receive and prepare the customer order and then will notify the customer
with his order status via WhatsApp message.
Finally, the delivery man will pick up the order from the bookstore, will deliver it to the customer
according to the schedule, and will confirm to the system that the order has been submitted to
customer.
