Problem 3.5 and 3.6
A parallel-fed, uniform array of five half-wave dipoles has a half-wavelength spacing at 300 MHz. The five dipoles are located along the z-axis as shown, and they all have the same phase. If the array is operated at 360 MHz, compare the pattern in the y-z plane at 360 MHz with the pattern at 300 MHz.
Repeat problem 3.5 if the array is series fed, starting with the element closest to the coordinate origin. Assume all elements have the same amplitudes and that there is 1 meter (i.e., 1 wavelength at 300 MHz) of transmission line between adjacent elements which are a half-wavelength apart at 300 MHz.
