Diagram the light dependent and light independent reactions in a chloroplast AND show places where products travel out of the chloroplast and where they go. The assignment should reflect 3 things: (1) understanding of the process of photosynthesis, (2) understanding of where things happen in the chloroplast during photosynthesis, and (3) understanding of the energy cycle in plants (think of how things are transferred into the mitochondria when they are made!).

Draw a simple sketch illustrating an inner mitochondrial membrane that is actively involved in chemiosmosis and label the two compartments it separates. Add the ATP synthase complex, indicate the proton gradient, and specify in which compartment ATP is synthesized.
